What Happened to Mealime Data After the October 21, 2026 Shutdown

Mealime's closing notice did not describe an export tool, and Mealime said all personal data would be deleted when the app shut down on October 21, 2026. Its recipes remain available in Meals Hub, so you can find favorites there by name.

What you can still do

  1. List your favorite recipes. Look them up by name in Meals Hub.
  2. Copy custom notes and grocery lists, if you saved them before the shutdown.
  3. Note your dietary preference settings so you can set them up again in whatever you use next.
  4. Ask about a copy of your personal data. Mealime's closing page says you may exercise your privacy rights under applicable law. Review the "rights of Users" section of Mealime's privacy policy, and contact Mealime support. Rights vary by state.
  5. Shop at an Albertsons Companies store? Meals Hub keeps the Mealime recipe library, free.

Is there an export button?

As of October 13, 2026, Mealime's closing page does not list steps for exporting or downloading your data. Check it for updates.

After you've saved what you need
